infolalulintas.com iPhone AppThe team have been busy this month perfecting on the upcoming infolalulintas.com iPhone app. Hopefully once we’re done squashing the bugs and quirks, we will be able to have it submitted to the App Store and have it available for download for free by next month.

As the main feature of the app, it will include a simplified and dedicated Twitter-based update tool that allows you to directly select your city and entering the traffic update without having to follow the specific formats that is required when you do the update from a regular Twitter client or mobile website. It allows you to get live traffic reports from other infolalulintas.com users, even if you’re not a Twitter user.

In the mean time, here are the production screenshots on what it’s going to be. As far as I can tell right now, this would make it a lot easier for you infolalulintas.com users to update from your iPhones.

Last Saturday, our pet project, infolalulintas.com was fortunate enough to be featured in iTempo, a technology insert for Koran Tempo. Just two days ago, our good friend Jonathan Nasution came up with the idea on integrating Twitter users to report traffic updates. I took the chance to develop this website together with him, as a pet project for Neuro-Designs. The basic idea is to have Twitter users update their status with the latest traffic report, and we mine that data as a feed to WordPress. The result? Well, you would just have to see it for yourself.

This is work on the go, so I’m quite surprised with what we can come out with in just two days. I really feel that both WordPress and Twitter are easily integrated, and they contribute an immense impact to the world of Web 2.0. Thanks for all the support and suggestions, guys! Especially to Charles Johnson, Aulia Masna, and Andira Pramanta.
