Then I Took an Arrow in the Knee

Adventurer No More

We all love memes, and what could be more appropriate for that than taking arrows in our knees? Presenting our first T-shirt this year, the Adventurer No More, a T-shirt that you can use as an explanation to your adventurer friends who keep asking you to join them on a dragon hunt or any other insane adventures. Just don’t use this excuse against Chuck Norris. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

As usual, the details on how to order:

  • Send an email to store@neuro-designs.com with your name, address, phone, and size. You can also send a text message to our hotline number at +62 812 12 NEURO. We will log your order, and reconfirm it once we have the T-shirts ready.
  • The price of this T-shirt will be IDR 75,000, excluding shipping.
  • It will be produced using the 24S (or better) combed cotton fabric, to make sure that you don’t take arrows anywhere else.
  • The size chart is available on our online store. Please make sure that you order the correct one, as we cannot do refunds or exchanges.
  • We will be starting our production once it reaches 12 or more orders.

So there we have it, fire away!

Ransel Kecil T-Shirt

NewImage.jpg

In collaboration with Ransel Kecil, we are going to produce these T-shirts that can become your pride and joy when traveling :)

Who is Ransel Kecil? It is a collaborative blog on travel planning tips and reports. This blog is independently run, so they wanted to give a token of appreciation to their contributors (yes, those who made the nice articles in Ransel Kecil). Additionally, with their outstanding traffic increase as more and more people are interested with their website, they will also need more resources to keep their website going. What else could be better to help them and to own a piece of that good stuff along the way.

This T-shirt will feature a quote from the legendary traveller Paul Theroux, and the Ransel Kecil logo on the back. And as with all of the T-shirts we produced, they will be treated with the utmost quality and our production standards. All the details on how to order are available from Ransel Kecil’s website.

So what are you waiting for? Order one now, and take it with you on your next trip.

HTML5 (Black)

Here in Neuro-Designs, we always put the best combination of both technology and design whenever possible, and that is why we’re making our own HTML5 T-shirts to show our support to the new standard.

The original T-shirt design comes in black, featuring the shield logo up front in bold orange, a tagline to tease those who prefer to stay in the old lane, and another tag line on the back side to further emphasize what HTML5 is all about.

If you’re not into black T-shirts, this design also comes in blue, the original branding colors of HTML5.

Why We Make Limited T-Shirts

Neuro-Designs T-Shirts

Some time ago, a few people asked us on why we make our T-shirts in a short-run production. Why not make them into a commodity or market them through store chains and local distro shops? To be honest, that thought crossed our minds a couple of years ago, but we do have some good reasons for not doing so.

Reason #1: We Like to Keep Them Exclusive
While many would probably disagree with us, we think that exclusivity is important to define who we are and what we designed. In terms of quality, even when we jumped in to the same meme bandwagon and created a T-shirt out of it—The Trololo T-shirt, for example—we always wanted to take the design from another edge, differentiating from others who made T-shirts with the same exact theme.

In terms of quantity, it goes even better. Limited number of copies of our T-shirt design means there are less people wearing it. This gives our design a step further from ubiquity.

Reason #2: Apparels for a Niche Market
If some people thought that we didn’t try to market our T-shirts at a local and popular trade forum, we did. In fact we did that recently and we didn’t like the results. It turned out that not everyone out there have the same thought or taste like ours. Some people just don’t get our designs, some people just didn’t like it, and to make matters worse, some people even defined our designs as something that is too sterile and that it lacks “design” elements. It’s rather hilarious since we never aimed our designs to be something like Ed Hardy, which we’re sure that they are attractive for some people.

Our T-shirt designs are based on things that we cannot express when we are designing for our clients. Some of them are extensions of memes, fiascos or popular culture that we think consider important to be immortalized into something that we can wear every day.

So instead of giving what everybody wants and reduce our passion in apparel design, we’d rather cater those who share the same thoughts and can appreciate our designs as they are. It’s just a simple fact that you can’t make everybody happy.

It seems that we’re quite happy with how things are going now with our T-shirt designs, and besides, since this is not our primary industry, we’re just trying to have some fun while we’re at it :)

Paul T-Shirt

Helping People Winning Bets

Don’t we all love Paul? I think Paul’s contribution to the World Cup fever should be immortalized into something that we can wear every day. So we’re going to have two designs for the Paul T-shirt, call it normal Paul, and frightened Paul if you wish (due to the death threats he received). And here are the details of the designs:

Paul (Orange)

Paul (Green)

How to Order

And like we always do things here, here’s how to get them:

  • Send an email to store@neuro-designs.com with your name, address, phone, color, and size. You can also send a text message to our hotline number at +62 812 12 NEURO.
  • The price of this T-shirt will be IDR 70.000, excluding shipping.
  • It will be produced using the 20S (or 24S if available) combed cotton fabric.

We will be starting our production once each color reaches 12 or more orders, but we are going to open the order until this Sunday. Hopefully, we can get everything going by next Monday. Right now, there has been 5 orders for the orange version, and 5 for the green version.

Now, what you’ll need to do is to let your friends know, and get them to order, too! The faster we get to the quota, the faster we’ll be in production.
