Pasar Twitter

Pasar Twitter

Pasar Twitter is another one of Neuro-Designs pet project which was released yesterday. Pasar Twitter is an online aggregator for Indonesian Twitter users that wanted to trade online, using posts in Twitter. Basically, what it does is it collects tweets that referenced @pasartwit, as well as suitable hashtags that have been provided to better aid the users, which are #jual, #beli, #cari, #sewa and #jasa.

Pasar Twitter uses the very same cron script developed by Rian Triharyana, which is also used in Andira Pramanta‘s AlasanBuatPutus. Pasar Twitter was also featured in DailySocial at the day it was launched.

Infolalulintas.com in Koran Tempo

Last Saturday, our pet project, infolalulintas.com was fortunate enough to be featured in iTempo, a technology insert for Koran Tempo. Being it as a pet project, we’re very grateful that it is now being used extensively by active Twitter users in Jakarta, that it received a lot of positive feedback, and not to mention being featured in the media.

Just two days ago, our good friend Jonathan Nasution came up with the idea on integrating Twitter users to report traffic updates. I took the chance to develop this website together with him, as a pet project for Neuro-Designs. The basic idea is to have Twitter users update their status with the latest traffic report, and we mine that data as a feed to WordPress. The result? Well, you would just have to see it for yourself.

This is work on the go, so I’m quite surprised with what we can come out with in just two days. I really feel that both WordPress and Twitter are easily integrated, and they contribute an immense impact to the world of Web 2.0. Thanks for all the support and suggestions, guys! Especially to Charles Johnson, Aulia Masna, and Andira Pramanta.
